Product Overview

The H3C WA6530 is a Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) AP independently developed by H3C Technologies Co., Ltd., designed to deliver high bandwidth and high concurrency for high-density indoor scenarios.

It adopts a tri-band 6-stream design with a maximum throughput of 5.375 Gbps. The 5 GHz band supports up to 4 spatial streams and a peak rate of 4.8 Gbps: Radio 1 and Radio 2 on 5 GHz each provide 2 spatial streams with a maximum rate of 2.4 Gbps. The 2.4 GHz band offers 2 spatial streams and a peak rate of 0.575 Gbps.

This AP supports flexible installation including wall-mount, ceiling-mount and wall plate mounting. Equipped with dual Ethernet ports, it enables link aggregation and internal/external network isolation.

This multi-functional AP supports flexible mode switching for cost-effective plug-and-play deployment.
  • Fit AP: Managed by Comware-based wireless controllers for centralized batch management.
  • Cloud AP: Enables wireless networking without hardware AC or authentication servers. It supports PPSK, PSK, Portal, SMS and WeChat authentication. Tailored for chain hotels and retail outlets, it delivers simplified deployment, hierarchical management, centralized dashboard and custom templates. Cloud intelligent O&M monitors devices, networks and terminals to cut costs and manpower.


Intelligent O&M

Equipped with visualized data, measurable metrics and auto-optimization. Using telemetry, it collects detailed data including roaming, authentication, signal strength, packet loss and radio status, covering over 150 offline/online failure causes. It evaluates terminal, device and network health, and automatically identifies and resolves faults to maintain optimal network performance.

Wired & Wireless Security

It supports 802.1X, PSK, MAC, PPPoE, Portal, WeChat and SMS authentication. Integrated WIPS provides rogue device detection, intrusion prevention, blacklist and whitelist functions. Wired port 802.1X authentication, CAPWAP and DTLS encryption secure network access. It also works with H3C security platforms to block risky terminals in real time.

Air Interface & Terminal Management

RROP reduces overhead from management and broadcast packets. SACP optimizes terminal access via signal control, spectrum navigation, load balancing and fair scheduling. RRM dynamically adjusts radio parameters for stable operation and automatic network recovery.

Application Assurance

Powered by Wi-Fi 6 eXtreme Plus, it identifies and accelerates key applications. It optimizes roaming and radio switching for smooth experience, and prioritizes traffic for audio and video services.

Roaming Optimization

Compliant with 802.11r/k/v, it realizes fast and seamless roaming to minimize disconnection. The Only 11ax mode restricts access to Wi-Fi 6 clients only, ensuring maximum performance.

Probe & Diagnosis

It acts as a dedicated sensor to capture Wi-Fi packets for troubleshooting. Doctor AP mode simulates terminals to locate faults, and works with Cloudnet APP for comprehensive cloud-based analysis.

Wi-Fi 6 Core Technologies

OFDMA reduces latency for multi-user services. SR and BSS Coloring improve spectrum utilization in high-density scenarios. TWT extends terminal battery life by smart sleep-wake scheduling.

Flexible Forwarding

It supports local forwarding to save WAN bandwidth, plus policy-based forwarding to relieve egress link pressure.

IPv4/IPv6 Dual Stack

Native dual stack allows automatic registration in IPv4 or IPv6 networks without isolation.

EAD & Chinese SSID

EAD enforces terminal security policies to isolate vulnerable devices. It supports Chinese SSID (up to 16 characters) and mixed Chinese-English SSID for local convenience.
