Product Overview

Developed by H3C, this Wi-Fi 6 AP series applies to enterprises, schools, medical facilities and more. It adopts dual-band four-stream design with a total rate up to 2.975Gbps: 2 spatial streams for 5GHz (2.4Gbps) and 2 for 2.4GHz (0.575Gbps). The WA6520 H20 features PSFP port for optical-electrical integration and optical port power supply. It supports panel, wall and ceiling mounting.

The integrated firmware enables flexible mode switching for plug-and-play deployment and lower costs.
  • Fit AP: Managed by Comware-based wireless controllers for batch local management.
  • Cloud AP: Works without hardware AC or authentication servers, supporting PPSK, PSK, Portal, SMS and WeChat authentication. Customized for multi-branch scenarios like chain hotels and supermarkets, it simplifies deployment, enables hierarchical management, customized templates and cloud O&M to cut costs and manpower.


Intelligent O&M

The intelligent O&M system realizes data visualization, measurable metrics and auto-optimization to reduce maintenance workload.
  • Data Visualization: Uses Telemetry to collect logs of roaming, authentication, signal strength, packet loss, latency, AP operation, radio status and WIPS attacks. It identifies over 150 terminal online failures, 140 offline issues and 100+ authentication errors.
  • Measurable Metrics: Evaluates terminal experience, device and network health for easy maintenance.
  • Auto-Optimization: Proactively detects and resolves network issues automatically to maintain high-performance, low-interference wireless networks.


Wired & Wireless Security

  • Access Authentication: Supports 802.1x, PSK, MAC, PPPoE, Portal, SMS and WeChat authentication.
  • WIPS: Provides rogue device detection, intrusion prevention, blacklist and whitelist functions.
  • Wired Security: Adopts 802.1X client authentication for AP legitimacy verification. CAPWAP and DTLS encryption protect wireless tunnels. It links with security awareness system to block risky terminals.


Air Interface & Access Policies

  • RROP: Reduces overhead from management, broadcast and invalid packets via Layer 2 isolation, low-rate disabling, Beacon interval adjustment and broadcast probe suppression.
  • SACP: Optimizes terminal access, load balance and traffic scheduling with weak-signal rejection, spectrum/roaming navigation, fair scheduling and intelligent bandwidth guarantee.


Radio Resource Management (RRM)

Monitors channel utilization, interference and conflicts in real time, and adjusts radio parameters dynamically to implement auto deployment and self-repair.


Application Assurance

Powered by exclusive Wi-Fi 6 eXtreme Plus technology, it identifies applications accurately and processes packets efficiently. It optimizes roaming and radio switching for key services, and prioritizes critical traffic to accelerate audio & video services.


Roaming Optimization

Supports 802.11r Fast BSS Transition, 802.11k and 802.11v to achieve seamless roaming with traffic retention and improved handoff quality.


Only 11ax Access

Restricts radios to Wi-Fi 6 clients only, preventing performance degradation caused by legacy Wi-Fi devices.


Probe Scanning

Works as an independent sensor to capture and mirror Wi-Fi packets for troubleshooting. Doctor AP mode simulates terminals to diagnose faults. It cooperates with Cloudnet APP and Cloud Simple solution for comprehensive network analysis.


Wi-Fi 6 Core Technologies

  • OFDMA: Enables parallel multi-user transmission to lower latency for voice and video services.
  • SR & BSS Coloring: Mitigates co-channel interference and improves spectrum utilization in high-density scenarios.
  • TWT: Schedules terminal sleep/wake cycles to reduce collisions and power consumption.


Flexible Forwarding

Supports local forwarding at branch sites to bypass remote controllers and save WAN bandwidth. It also allows flexible selection between centralized and local forwarding.

Fully supports Native IPv6. Devices auto-register with controllers via broadcast, multicast, DHCP Option 43 and DNS without network isolation.


EAD Wireless Access

The End user Admission Domination solution enforces enterprise security policies. Vulnerable clients will be restricted until compliant, enhancing overall network security.


Chinese SSID

Supports SSIDs with up to 16 Chinese characters or mixed Chinese and English for local use convenience.
