Product Overview

The H3C WA6522H-C is a self-developed Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) access point (AP) by H3C Technologies Co., Ltd. It is ideal for densely partitioned indoor spaces such as student dormitories, hospital wards and hotel rooms, which effectively cuts down deployment and construction costs.

Powered by the new-generation H3C Comware network operating system, it supports cloud-network-edge collaboration. Equipped with the innovative 4i technology, it delivers intelligent radio management, intelligent terminal management, intelligent service assurance and intelligent network self-healing. It fully ensures a high-speed and reliable wireless experience for end users and enables hassle-free O&M for network administrators.
  • Adopting dual-band and four-stream design, the device delivers a maximum throughput of 2.975Gbps. The 5GHz band supports up to 2 spatial streams with a maximum data rate of 2.4Gbps, while the 2.4GHz band supports up to 2 spatial streams with a maximum data rate of 0.575Gbps. It fully meets the high-bandwidth application requirements for in-room scenarios.
  • It features flexible installation options, including 86-type junction box mounting, wall mounting and ceiling mounting. With a standard 86*86mm form factor, it can be directly installed on conventional 86mm concealed boxes without damaging existing decorations.

The all-in-one firmware supports flexible mode switching to cut deployment costs and enable plug-and-play.
  • Fit AP: Managed by Comware-based wireless controllers for batch local AP management.
  • Cloud AP*: Works with Cloud Simple solution without hardware AC or authentication servers, supporting PPSK, PSK, Portal, SMS and WeChat authentication. Customized for chain hotels, supermarkets and multi-branch sites, it delivers simplified deployment, hierarchical management, centralized dashboard and custom templates. Cloud O&M enables full status monitoring of wireless devices, networks and terminals to reduce costs and manpower.


Intelligent O&M

H3C wireless intelligent O&M system features data visualization, measurable metrics and auto-optimization to lower O&M workload and costs.
  • Data Visualization: Adopts Telemetry to collect comprehensive data including terminal roaming, authentication, signal strength, packet loss and latency. It identifies over 150 terminal online failures, 140 offline causes and 100+ authentication errors. It also gathers AP connection disconnection, port traffic, packet errors, radio utilization and WIPS attack data.
  • Measurable Metrics: Built-in evaluation systems assess terminal experience, device and network health for easy maintenance.
  • Auto-Optimization: Proactively detects, analyzes and resolves network issues via intelligent troubleshooting and progressive optimization, keeping networks high-performance with low interference without manual intervention.

Terminal Access Control

Supports 802.1x, PSK, MAC, PPPoE, Portal, WeChat and SMS authentication with matched controllers and authentication systems to secure wireless access.

WIPS

Works with wireless controllers/switches to implement rogue device detection, intrusion prevention, blacklist and whitelist functions to identify and block illegal wireless devices.

Wired Security

Enables AP wired port 802.1X client authentication to verify AP legitimacy. CAPWAP tunnel and DTLS encryption protect wireless tunnels. It also links with H3C security awareness system to block risky wireless terminals.

Air Interface Optimization & Access Policies

  • RROP: Optimizes air interface resources by limiting management, broadcast and invalid packets. Functions include Layer 2 isolation, low-rate disabling, Beacon interval adjustment and broadcast probe suppression.
  • SACP: Controls terminal access to steer clients to optimal APs, balance load and schedule traffic. It rejects weak-signal clients, enables spectrum/roaming navigation, fair scheduling, traffic shaping and smart bandwidth guarantee.


Radio Resource Management (RRM)

Monitors channel utilization, interference and conflicts in real time, and dynamically adjusts radio channel, bandwidth and power for optimal radio status, supporting auto network deployment and self-recovery.


Application Assurance

Equipped with exclusive Wi-Fi 6 eXtreme Plus technology for fast application identification and packet processing, overcoming traditional DPI/DFI drawbacks. It optimizes roaming and radio switching for key services, and prioritizes critical traffic to accelerate audio & video applications.


Roaming Optimization

Supports 802.11r Fast BSS Transition to speed up roaming and reduce disconnections. Combined with 802.11k and 802.11v, it achieves seamless handoff with traffic retention during switching.


Only 11ax Access

Restricts specified radios to Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) clients only, avoiding performance degradation caused by legacy Wi-Fi devices.


Probe Scanning

Functions as an independent sensor to capture and mirror full-band Wi-Fi packets for troubleshooting and analysis. It supports Doctor AP mode to simulate terminals and diagnose air interface faults, and collaborates with Cloudnet APP for multi-dimensional network analysis.

  • OFDMA: Splits bandwidth into subcarriers for concurrent multi-user data transmission, lowering latency for voice and video services.

Flexible Forwarding

Supports local forwarding at branch APs to bypass central controllers and save WAN bandwidth. It also offers selective centralized/local traffic forwarding to ease egress bandwidth pressure.


IPv4/IPv6 Dual Stack

Fully compatible with IPv4 and Native IPv6. Devices register automatically with controllers via broadcast, multicast, DHCP Option 43 and DNS, ensuring seamless network integration.


EAD Wireless Access

Implements terminal admission control to enforce enterprise security policies. Isolates or restricts vulnerable clients until security requirements are met to enhance overall network security.


Chinese SSID

Supports SSIDs with up to 16 Chinese characters or mixed Chinese and English for local user convenience.
