The H3C S5000PV6-EI Series Ethernet Switches are a new generation of high-performance full-gigabit managed switches launched by H3C for small and medium-sized commercial markets. They support IRF2 stacking, and deliver comprehensive security access policies as well as easy network management and maintenance. Widely deployed for network construction in government, SMEs, schools, hotels and other industries.

IRF2 virtualizes multiple physical switches into one logical unit for unified use and management.
  • Simplified Management: Access the unified system via any port and configure the entire IRF through a single device.
  • Simplified Services: All protocols run collectively. Cross-device link aggregation replaces STP, cutting protocol interactions and accelerating network convergence.
  • Flexible Scalability: Hot plugging is supported for device addition or removal without service interruption.
  • High Reliability: Link aggregation ensures multi-link redundancy. Automatic Master election delivers 1:N device backup, and real-time protocol backup guarantees 1:N protocol reliability.
  • High Performance: The system’s total capacity and port density equal the sum of all member devices for prominent performance improvement.

Reliable Security Policies

  • ARP intrusion detection defends against ARP spoofing.
  • IP Source Guard blocks address spoofing and DoS attacks.
  • DHCP Snooping prohibits unauthorized DHCP servers.
  • Port security prevents MAC-based attacks and controls traffic by MAC addresses.
  • It supports 802.1X, MAC authentication, client version detection and Guest VLAN. Combined with iMC, it enables proxy and dual-NIC detection.

Enhanced Multi-service Capabilities

  • Port and flow rate limiting enables refined bandwidth management against malicious occupation.
  • SP, WRR and SP+WRR queue scheduling support multi-priority data transmission.
  • Rich IPv6 functions and management tools are available.

User-friendly Network Management

  • CLI, Web and Telnet facilitate daily management, and SSH 2.0 secures access.
  • Remote upgrade via FTP/TFTP is supported. It works with SNMP v1/v2c/v3, iMC and OpenView platforms.
  • A RESET button is provided for device restoration, reconfiguration and troubleshooting.

Energy-saving Design

  • Low power consumption reduces faults and radiation, meeting household appliance radiation standards.
  • The product complies with EU RoHS requirements for environmental and material safety.

*Embedded Network Management Software

It enables unified management of wireless devices, switches and routers, offering free O&M and simplified deployment for small networks. The switches can be managed as nodes for easy maintenance.

AI PoE Function

AI PoE integrates AI technology to realize intelligent PD power supply, power management, alarm logging, PoE security, fast reboot, Perpetual PoE and long-distance PoE transmission.
Besides, PoE Watchdog monitors port status and restarts PoE power automatically to recover faulty links.
