Rated for 550 TB/year workload and 2.5 million-hour MTBF, it supports 24/7 multi-user NAS operation. The drive delivers up to 285MB/s outer-diameter sustained throughput with a 512MB cache. Limited to a 10GB test footprint, FIO results place the IronWolf Pro 32TB in the mid-range. It achieved 284MB/s sequential read and 283MB/s sequential write. Its 4K random read hit 203 IOPS (156.87ms latency), while random write reached 315 IOPS (101.40ms), outperforming the 30TB IronWolf Pro but falling behind WD Gold and Seagate x24 in small-block writes.
