NVIDIA has unveiled an innovative business framework to speed up AI infrastructure rollout, offering AI cloud providers a combined solution of revenue sharing and credit support. Released on July 1 via an official blog co-authored by CFO Colette Kress, this new program aims to expand access to accelerated computing resources for AI startups, model developers, enterprises, research institutions and regional AI service providers amid the fast-growing demand for production-grade inference workloads.
This launch signals a notable industry shift: the AI sector is gradually moving its focus from large language model training to the stable operation of commercial AI services. With wider AI adoption, modern infrastructure demands are increasingly centered on large-scale AI factories that deliver continuous inference token generation. Such operational environments require rapidly deployable GPU resources, high hardware utilization, and multi-tenant architecture to sustain cost-effective and long-term inference business operations.
NVIDIA’s Revenue Sharing Mechanism
Emerging AI startups have long faced financing hurdles for large-scale GPU infrastructure construction. The massive capital expenditure required for enterprise-level AI deployments often exceeds their available funding, leaving them unable to build sufficient compute capacity to support formal production workloads.
NVIDIA’s new business model solves this pain point by allowing AI cloud vendors to procure NVIDIA infrastructure through an integrated revenue-sharing and credit-support mechanism. Participating providers will deliver NVIDIA-powered cloud services to AI-native startups, enterprise clients and independent software vendors (ISVs). NVIDIA will gain profits from two sources: direct infrastructure sales and shared revenue from the cloud services running on its hardware.
NVIDIA states that this strategy will accelerate the popularization of its AI platform, while building a steady, usage-based recurring revenue stream closely linked to real infrastructure consumption.
For teams building foundation models, running inference services, developing AI agents or launching enterprise AI applications, this mechanism greatly shortens the cycle of acquiring production-scale compute resources. Instead of waiting for data center construction, power deployment and hardware delivery, users can leverage ready-made AI cloud capacity to launch businesses faster.
The program mainly encourages AI cloud providers to build NVIDIA DSX AI factories to undertake regional and enterprise-level AI workloads. Sharon AI and Firmus are officially named among the first batch of participating partners.
Sharon AI intends to deploy up to 40,000 NVIDIA Grace Blackwell GB300 GPUs for its infrastructure expansion. Firmus is constructing a DSX AI factory campus in Batam, Indonesia, with plans to scale the facility to 360MW and support a maximum of 170,000 NVIDIA GPUs.
NVIDIA also recognizes emerging AI-native cloud platforms including Baseten, Fireworks AI and Together AI as key drivers for on-demand accelerated computing demand. These platforms support diverse workloads, covering model training, fine-tuning, post-training optimization and large-scale commercial inference for global enterprises and developers.
Overall, this new initiative reflects NVIDIA’s strategic shift beyond pure hardware sales. By empowering cloud providers to deliver production-ready GPU capacity to more AI developers and enterprises, the company further expands the scale and commercial value of its global AI infrastructure ecosystem.
