Dell PowerEdge XE7745 Server Foundation
The Dell PowerEdge XE7745 targets resource-heavy AI, HPC and GPU-driven computing tasks. It accommodates dual 5th Gen AMD EPYC CPUs and a maximum of eight NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell GPUs, forming a compact high-density compute base for enterprise AI workload operations.
SmartPlate Direct-to-Chip Cooling Technology
JetCool equips the server with its proprietary SmartPlate direct-to-chip liquid cooling to handle steep thermal loads from accelerator-rich servers. The cooling hardware extracts heat straight from CPUs and GPUs, engineered to sustain thermal loads as high as 8 kW per unit and greatly lower the chance of performance-limiting thermal throttling.
JetCool’s testing shows this liquid design cuts CPU operating temperatures by as much as 7% and GPU temperatures by up to 11% versus air-cooled alternatives, creating extra thermal headroom under heavy continuous loads.
These thermal advantages translate to tangible efficiency gains: fan rotational speeds drop by up to 70% alongside a 50% cut in fan power draw, slashing the server’s total power usage by as much as 30 dB. The liquid cooling setup also delivers a noise reduction of up to 23 dB compared to standard air-cooled models.
By dissipating component heat far more effectively, the system unlocks extra rack-level power and cooling headroom. Businesses can scale up compute density inside their current data center space without undertaking large-scale facility retrofits.
The platform’s low-flow cooling architecture simplifies integration into existing on-site infrastructure, letting firms swap out older low-density servers while retaining their pre-existing facility water loop systems. JetCool supplies the full rack cooling ecosystem as a pre-integrated factory assembly, including server racks, mounting brackets, coolant distribution units (CDUs), fluid manifolds and all fluid delivery hardware.
