AI-centric data orchestration provider Hammerspace has revealed its year-to-date bookings in 2026 are nearly 14 times higher than the full-year revenue recorded in 2025.
The firm appointed Tony Asaro as its new Chief Revenue Officer in late January, with Asaro previously serving as Chief Strategy and Business Development Officer. Hammerspace’s Global Data Environment consolidates scattered unstructured data silos. Leveraging pNFS-based software, the platform delivers data to Nvidia GPU servers through GPUDirect technology.
David Flynn, Founder and CEO of Hammerspace, stated: “AI development has outgrown pure model training. The industry is entering an operational era, featuring large-scale inference, improved token generation speed, reduced token costs, and physical AI readiness. Hammerspace transforms customers’ existing infrastructure into a competitive AI-enabled platform.”
Flynn insists the rapid adoption of AI inference proves enterprises cannot afford to wait for infrastructure relief, new capacity deployment or copy-dependent architectural upgrades. Businesses must maximize their current assets including storage arrays, GPU servers, data centers and cloud resources. Advanced software is also essential to locate and transmit data rapidly for ultra-low-latency data-heavy workloads.
Asaro has facilitated Hammerspace’s channel ecosystem expansion, establishing partnerships with Hitachi Vantara, Supermicro, Nvidia AI Data Platform, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, and GPU-as-a-Service provider neoclouds.
The sharp booking growth stems from two major demands: global enterprises integrating cross-data-center and cross-cloud data to accelerate AI workflows without creating new data silos or undertaking disruptive migrations; and governmental sovereign AI projects requiring rapid AI deployment while retaining full control over distributed data assets.
Hammerspace maintains a gross retention rate above 95%, demonstrating strong customer stickiness and low churn. Its Net Promoter Score (NPS) reaches 71 — a score over 50 is universally recognized as world-class, reflecting high customer willingness for product recommendation.
For reference, Everpure and VAST Data both achieved an NPS of 84 in previous years, whereas NetApp recorded an NPS of merely 36 in April 2025 according to Comparably data.
